A gallium-based liquid metal thermal compound. It is a metallic alloy that is liquid at room temperature, designed to allow for the minimum possible layer thickness between a heatsink and a heat spreader.

Usage Warnings

• Electrically conductive: Keep away from all electrical contacts.
• Do not use with aluminum: This product will corrode aluminum surfaces.
• Recommended for use on nickel-plated copper for best long-term stability.
• Designed for applications operating above 8°C.
• Note: As a metal alloy, it may leave visual residue. If it diffuses into the heatspreader, it can obscure engravings and may void the component's warranty.

Technical Details

This is a liquid metal, not a thermal paste. Traditional pastes consist of solid particles in a liquid base, which can create an uneven layer. Liquid metal contains no solid particles, allowing the cooler and heat spreader surfaces to be closer together for more consistent heat transfer.
